I am Lorraine Alden, writing as the Inkenheimer since 1993. (It's a nickname that stuck.) I've also pursued sales and management, but it seems I always come back to writing. When creating for clients, my goal is to listen well, produce quickly, and deliver on time in a memorable style - perhaps a wee bit quirky if the concept invites it, but never jejune.
I operate on the premise that your communication should be as literate and engaging as you presume your reader to be.
For fun I follow current events, enjoy gardening and needlework, relax with old movies, read extensively, create gourmet delights in my kitchen, and argue politics. Follow my links to learn more about me.
I hate writing. I love having written.

Kill your darlings, kill your darlings, even when it breaks your egocentric little scribbler’s heart, kill your darlings. -Stephen King
Adapt your style, if you wish, to admit the color of slang or freshness of neologism, but hang tough on clarity, precision, structure, grace.
